Time passed by so quickly, I barely noticed that I haven't shared recent
"happenings" with you guys.. Well, allow me to make up! :)
Meeting up 2008!
Well, new year was fun; I spent it in Sampaloc Manila, but it could have been memorable if Honey Joy was here to celebrate it with me. It was supposed to be our 1st New Year together (I'll tell you guys why she's not here later). Anyway, I had it celebrated
with Honey Joy's family (Mami, Mamang, Ate Nitz, Kuya Mike, Cesar, and
Ate Tin), the Kids (Cheng, Miggy & Alex) and cousins (Nikkie &
Myx) and all the
neighborhood. It was fun indeed! We lit up some "paputoks" but got totally blow-off when one of the "tambays" shown us his "Goodbye Philippines" na paputok! (Yah, it gave us many laughs too!) It was like an exaggerated "five star" and it was so loud with its explosion that it even made my shirt move! After all the show, we set up the table for us to share some "Red Horse" and "pulutans" to seal the celebration..and guess what, we ended up at around 6:30am the next year! (Hehe, Classic Joke!)
But the highlight of the event, Honey Joy called us for about 3 times..
and that's all i ever need before I bid goodbye to 2007...
Oh, So Many Miles Away!
almost 4 months now (Huhu!). Well, even before "naging kami", Joy had
been preparing to work for a Luxury Cruise Line. Her two sister are
already working there and it almost took her two years to finally settle
everything. When the time came "na naging kami", Joy has already a
schedule to leave dated May 9 (good thing it was moved to September 22
afterwards). She made me decide kung itutuloy nya pa since she doesn't
want to leave me, but I told her to go, just once, so as not to
dissappoint her family, and in that way she could also earn some for our
future, Anyways, It would only take a maximum of 8 months (only? AHH!).
So, she left.. it was early morning of September 22. Our hearts
shattered, we exchanged tight hugs and kisses there in the airport (her
mother in front of us heheh). There! She now travels from Miami to
Bahamas to Mexico to Honduras(hey that's my country!), to Virgin Islands
and Belize and more! I'm really happy for her, and imagine, we always
talk everyday on mobile, text, email, chat, webcam and almost any
communication device possible! Oh, I can't imagine how are nights gonna
be when she comes back! We'll have million things to talk about,
countless hours to show each other our love (and how we missed each
other), especially now that the distance made us realized more how, as
the song puts it, "you don't know what you've got till its gone!" Good
thing, she'll be here soon..in my embrace, never to let go of each other
again!
Our Getaways!
BICOL
I'm so excited to share with you guys ang mga "travels & trips" that
Honey Joy and me had! Just after we became "lovers", we traveled our way
to my province Bicol..I just had to let Joy see where I grew up, my
family, some friends and oh so many things that I can't show in one day
(unfortunately we just had one day then). We really had some funny
moments like when we tried to capture Mayon Volacano on cam but we got
it "low batt" before reaching Legaspi City..hehe! I had her meet my
parents (and she was very muck liked by my mother!), I had her meet with
some of the neighbors (even the running mayor!). That night, we went
swimming together with Alex and her wife in San Benon Hot Springs in
Irosin. We had two motorcycles, so Me and Joy was on one of them and it
was soooo cool driving at night! One funny thing that happened is when
we where swimming and I tried to grabbed Joy's leg from underwater, and
as I was about to kiss it, haha! Guess what?! It was not Joy's leg but
of a guy I don't know! HAHA! Oh the shame that followed but it paid good
laughs!
MANILA
Back here in Manila, it was Joy's turn to show me her place (since she's
a Manila girl). We went to Luneta Park, Intramuros (Fort Santiago), INC
churches & museum, Quiapo, Divisoria (Tutuban), Rainforest, Manila Zoo,
Malabon Zoo, Malate Bars, Baywalk, Museong Pambata, National Museum
(though we weren't able to enter), Watchtower Headquarters in Freesco,
and a lot lot more! One thing I enjoyed so much was traveling aroung
Historical Manila on a Calesa! We did it twice! Oh, we went into almost
all corners of Manila, sweet Manila! We also enjoyed eating in a lot of
restaurants and fast foods like, The Old Spagetti House, Wendys, Burger
King, Mamonluk, San Jacinto, and soon Aristocrat..hays!

As I promised you guys, here's our simple but sweet story on how two
lost hearts find their way home..to each other's embrace..well, i call
it the "destined love".
It all happened in a time, about 9 months ago, when I was not looking
for love, in fact I was entangled in its complexities! I don't wanna
share the "situation" then but to give a hint, I just ended some
"unworking" and "not meant" relationships that I had. I was (and I can't
believe it then!) a renewed bachelor! I was trying to pick all the
pieces of myself, not really knowing what to do or where to go, or if
did the right thing in the first place. I was working then in IBM.
I was hanging out with some friends then, namely Becky, Ivy, and
Joy..though they were really not part of my circle then, but I enjoyed
their company as well. Well to make it short, Joy and I found ourselves
enjoying each others company after workshift over a donut or two (thanks
to Dunkin Donuts!).. We shared unending stories of our lives (mostly Joy
doing the story telling and me, the listerner). We shared a lot about
our failed relationships (me from 6 years and Joy from 9 years). Always
with the donuts, we really didn't realized that time passes quickly
until we find ourselves "na ginagabi na". Day after day...
Believe me guys, there's a lot more things that happened in between but
I want to make our story short...so..
We were in Shangrila Mall in Crossings on April 13, 2007. I, Joy, Becky,
and Ivy were on "a pila" on an ATM down by the foodcourt area..nothing
special, until Becky and Ivy broke up a question to us.."kayo na bang
dalawa?" And there was silence, few smiles, and some shakings in my
inner being..Joy answered "kung anu sagot ni Chris, yun ang sagot ko"!
Oooohhh...Joy had barely finished her words when I answered back " Oo,
kami na!" Then I immediately looked into Joy, she smiled, our friends
gave "uuuyss"...We both knew then, it's was DAY ONE, day one of a love
to last forever...and that was April 13, 2007.
I and Joy shares this "something" that is so overwhelming, something
inside us that tells us "we are meant to be." In fact we have a lot of
similarities and a lot of "destiny workings", bringing us down to
knowing each other, as if a hand was guiding us all the way to IBM, to
training, to friendship, to Dunkin, to lovers, to eternity...
CHRIS is from Bicol

Both CHRIS and JOY were in a not so good relationship at that time 
JOY went home and applied for work again here in the

JOY and CHRIS both applied at 
before they worked with IBM. Both were accepted for the US account unfortunately the training wouldn’t start immediately.

and both JOY and CHRIS didn’t push through with it.
Both JOY and CHRIS were from a relationship for so long 
JOY’S was for 9 years and CHRIS’S was for 6 years.
Both JOY and CHRIS experienced the same heart break

CHRIS and JOY recently found out that both of their families enjoyed shopping at Cash and Carry in Makati 
when they were young.
CHRIS and JOY, though it’s funny, care about the feelings of THINGS around them. One example is saying sorry to an 
ha ha..when they feel it is so tired or when they accidentally bumped into it. Weired isn’t it?
CHRIS and JOY enjoyed traveling a lot

di kita iniisip. I don't get tired reading your texts & through it, it
makes me realize how lucky I am to have you. Lagi me pasalamat kay Jah
kasi di lang niya ako binigyan ng asawa kundi bestfriend pa. I wanna run
to you everytime I feel sad, I know open arms mo me iccomfort. Beh thank
you sa love na binibigay mo sa akin na sayo ko lang nafeel. I miss you
na talaga beh sobrang kelangan na kita. Miss ko yung mga yakap natin pag
bumababa tayo sa escalator, yung pag may natutuklasan tayo ginagaya
natin si Joey ng FRIENDS yung "yeah baby" yung mga arguments natin sa
mga paniniwala natin, yung waffle time natin in the morning at mga
midnight snacks natin sa Angels.. hay I just miss everything about you
and us. Sandali na lang honey makakasama ko na ulit yung pinakalove ko.
Beh napakatalino ni Jah though di kagad tayo nagkakilala He found a way
na magmeet tayo.. iba talaga pag destined sa isa't isa noh? Sana di kaw
sawa sakaka "i love you" ko honey kasi yun talaga nararamdaman ko. I"ll
show it to you lalong lalo na pagbalik ko beh.. I'm excited to have
Santino for real. I appreciate you more and more. You are one in a

Well, well, well..Christmas season is officially over..and guess what! The rumored 2nd gift check was given (another 500 for SM)! And to make it more incredible, the company decided to give xmas bonus(rumored 3k) on the 27th (whatacompany)!
I
spent the holiday at my Gf's place in Sampaloc Manila (so sad, I wish
she was there)..I was so happy to see the the big smiles from the
kidz(Cheng, Miggy, and Alex) as I hand them their gifts! Oh I feel so
fulfilled and filled! Haha! Yup, filled with food...sobrang dami ng
food, at may dala pa akong big box of brownies at litson manok!
I haven't shared yet my office's xmas party in Metro bar sa West Ave..
The theme was 70's haha, I borrowed my "costume" from an officemate and
eventually I bought it from him coz I liked it! See the photo above!
The party was so cool! I enjoyed it so much, hindi kasi ako mahilig pumunta sa mga party-party but since my friends are there: it made a difference, if not memorable! At my back is Glenn, then Leo and the big guy is Patrick.
Well, it's now the 26th, I'm here doing blog.. but I'm just happy coz I spent an hour on YM with my wifey Joy..good thing there's a net cafe on board(kaso it costs $20)! So ayun todo chika at lambingan..hehe, we usually talk about our memories(magmula ng kung panu kami nagkakilala hanggang sa mga travel adventures namin) Ohhh..I miss my girl so much..She'll be back by may 29(if Jah permits). And we'll never part again..I loveyou baby ko!

I haven't talk much yet about my joy, I mean my Joy...hmm..I'll share
it on my next blog..starting from how we've met, up to, why she's a
million miles away from me now...chao!
It's almost Christmas, well honestly I don't celebrate it because I'm a Jehovah's witness, but anyway it's all around you..and this season actually brings some good things to me! Like my 13th month pay(though i got it prorated :c), a P500 gift certificate for Robinson by the company (rumors says one more will still come :) , and "no work" on 25, 26, 31 and Jan 1 (unfortunately those days actually are my by "day-offs", aargh!).
I'm planning to spend the season either alone (sa pad), with my honey's Family (montana!), or have some meetups with good ol' friends (Myra, Gerald & Levi)...I may also be spending it at the Bethel (JW hq in Freesco). But anyways, I would not be able to go to my province (Bicol) which I hoped to do since my family is there! WAAAAAAHH!!
I'm new to blogging but I won't be stopped! Haha! Here we go..Just
wanna have an outlet of all the things that comes up in my every day
life..I've got a lot to share indeed that sometimes I feel that my head
is gonna explode! Yah!
Well, I wanna start by saying that I'm quite happy with my life now (hope it's gonna last!)..coz I'm enjoying my work now (I'm working as Technical Support for an Aussie ISP), I've got a brand new PSP (thanks Hon!), I'm starting to save(money!), and most of all, because I have my honey Joy as my future wife and Santinu, my future son! They are my everyday inspiration..they make me smile, they give me the reason to to live though I may lose everything (including my work, PSP, or savings!) as long as I have them, No Worries!
Well this is all I'm gonna share for now...many stories more to come...to break my silence!
